Human Physiology Integration Gateway

Human Physiology is the integration layer, not a second copy of the underlying courses. It connects the currently governed system families while preserving one canonical owner for each course.

Academic ownership

Sequence System family Canonical academic owner Open
01 Transport and circulation Higher Zoology Physiology — Blood Circulation series Open circulation
02 Respiration and gas exchange HSC Zoology — Respiratory System series Open respiration
03 Digestion and absorption HSC Zoology — Digestive System 14-lecture course Open digestion

The order above is the governed integration sequence for this gateway. It does not relocate the underlying lessons and does not create duplicate course ownership.

How to study the integration sequence

  1. Circulation: trace transport, heart function, blood flow, pressure and feedback.
  2. Respiration: connect ventilation, gas exchange and gas transport with circulation.
  3. Digestion: connect nutrient breakdown and absorption with delivery to tissues.
  4. Compare each system using the same reasoning frame: structure → function → regulation → feedback → evidence.
  5. Return to the canonical system course for its own assessment, revision and source material.

Current scope boundary

The present governed gateway includes only the three system families above. Nervous coordination, endocrine regulation, renal/osmotic control, thermoregulation and other physiology systems are not counted as completed modules here until their canonical course ownership and sequence are separately certified.

Assessment boundary

Use system comparison, mechanism explanation, diagrams, short answers and MCQs to test understanding. Health-related examples are educational; this pathway does not provide diagnosis, treatment advice or individual clinical assessment.
