Learn → recall without notes → solve → submit or check → explain → repair → retest. Use a notebook for working. The page is a guide, not a substitute for a full syllabus or an official question paper.

Four subject capsules

Physics

  • A vector has magnitude and direction; resolve it into perpendicular components before combining forces.
  • For uniform acceleration, keep the sign convention visible. The three core relations are v = u + at, s = ut + ½at² and v² = u² + 2as.
  • Newton's second law links net force, mass and acceleration: acceleration follows the resultant force, not one isolated force.

Chemistry

  • The mole is a counting unit: n = m/M and N = nNₐ.
  • Balance the chemical equation before using mole ratios.
  • A limiting reactant is the reactant consumed first; calculate both possible product amounts before deciding.

Higher Mathematics

  • A limit asks what a function approaches, not necessarily the value at the point.
  • The derivative is a rate of change and the slope of a tangent.
  • Begin with power, constant, sum and difference rules; record the domain or restriction when a denominator is involved.

Biology

  • The cell is the basic structural and functional unit of life.
  • The plasma membrane is selectively permeable; the nucleus stores most genetic material in a eukaryotic cell.
  • Mitochondria are associated with aerobic ATP production; ribosomes are sites of protein synthesis; Golgi bodies modify and package materials.

Recall without notes

  1. Define scalar and vector in one sentence and give one example of each.
  2. Explain why an unbalanced equation makes a stoichiometric calculation unreliable.
  3. Differentiate x³ + 4x − 7 without looking at a formula sheet.
  4. Name the organelle that makes proteins and the organelle that modifies and packages them.

Practice and application

  1. Draw a vector triangle and solve one resultant-force problem.
  2. Balance two equations and calculate the limiting reactant in one simple example.
  3. Solve three limits and differentiate five short functions.
  4. Make a two-column cell-organelle table: structure and one defensible function.

Assessment / output

Diagnostic mixed score, baseline error taxonomy and Formula Sheet v1.
